Your first map in R

Description: In this one-hour lunch workshop, you will learn how to create maps with R, a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. We will provide you with a dataset, however, feel free to bring your data. We will show you how to draw quick maps and give you inputs on how to create interactive and more sophisticated maps. By the end of the course, you will have coded and plotted a beautiful map. Plus you will have a lot of ideas for creating future maps.
