With the Geoparsing Workshop at the end of November and the Closing Apero yesterday, the GIS Hub as a DSI Lab will come to an end. In the name of the entire team (Leyla Ciragan, Daniel Ursprung, Peter Ranacher, Ross Purves and myself), we thank all the workshop lecturers for their commitment and dedication and the participants for their curiosity, perseverance and constructive feedback. A big thank you also goes to the UZH Digital Society Initiative for their support!
We enjoyed the last 2.5 years and hope we could inspire many students and researchers at UZH (and beyond 😉 for GIS and spatial analysis!
The GIS Hub will continue in 2025 in a slightly different form, but with no less enthusiasm.
